Join us in the John Bell Chapel for our traditional Candlelight Carol Services. The chapel will be decorated with pine boughs and flickering candles illuminating the darkness. Listen to beautiful seasonal music performed by Appleby's Chapel Choir and hear the story of the Nativity. Please join in singing some of your favourite Christmas carols and celebrate afterwards with refreshments in the Schlesinger Dining Hall. Students and their families are invited to attend on the following dates: -Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. - Upper One Carol Service -Friday, December 15, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. - Upper Two and Senior One Carol Service -Sunday, December 17, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. - Middle One and Middle Two Carol Service -Sunday, December 17, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. - Senior Two and Alumni Carol Service Students are expected to attend one service, and parents and guardians are invited to attend any of the Carol Services. If you have two or more children attending Appleby, you may choose one of the services and attend as a family. During the services we will be accepting unwrapped gifts for children under 12 that will be sent to St. Matthew’s House Holiday Hope program. During the Offertory, we will also accept monetary donations for the Primates World Relief and Development Fund, an Anglican affiliated outreach and social justice agency to help with their global humanitarian response program to aid those suffering from both natural and humanmade disasters.
