German Teacher - One-year contract, Full-time, Grades 7-12

Appleby College is an independent school for 675 young men and women in Grades 7 to 12. Founded in 1911, Appleby offers an outstanding education to both boarding and day students. The e.school@appleby^™ program integrates information technology into the curriculum at every grade level. The campus is completely networked and all students and faculty have notebook computers.

Applicants should have a willingness to commit to the full co-curricular program. Appleby teachers are expected to integrate the use of information technology into the curriculum. In particular, applicants should have:

German language experience

A proven and relevant academic background

A proven ability to have a caring rapport with students, Grades 7 to 12

Strong communication skills

An enthusiastic and productive work ethic

Ontario Teachers' Certificate an asset
