Established in 1979 through the generosity of a testamentary bequest by Edith Baillie Serson (daughter of Sir Frank and Lady Edith Baillie), the Appleby College Archives hold the school's official records from 1908 to the present and include records and publications of faculty and administration, alumni and affiliated associations such as the Parents' Association. The Archives contain other materials such as photographs, drawings, paintings, portraits, maps and plans of the campus, video and audio tapes, and computer media, as well as artifacts such as trophies, plaques, sports boards, medals, badges, pins, school and sports uniforms, and furniture. The Archives house and promote the importance of Appleby's institutional memory for students, alumni, employees and the community at large.
Celebrate Appleby's heritage by viewing the revolving exhibits on display outside the Samuel Academic Resource Centre.
The Archives are open Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. by appointment. Over the summer, the Archives will be closed from July 15 to August 15. Click here for more information.
