Alim Pardhan Class of '96

Alim Pardhan attended Appleby College from 1992 to 1996. While a student at Appleby, Alim was Walker House Prefect, a chapel warden, Captain of the Swim team, member of the First Badminton team and was involved with the tutoring program. Committed to academics and community service, Alim was the recipient of numerous awards upon graduation, including the OAC prize for Computer Science; Oakville-Milton Real Estate Award for Community Service; The Cayley Award in Activities; and The Loewen, Ondaatje, McCutcheon Educational Award. Since graduating from Appleby Alim has obtained his undergraduate degree from McMaster University (2000), received his medical degree from the University of Manitoba (2004) and completed his emergency medical residency at McMaster University (2009). Today, Alim is Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Emergency Medicine, and Department of Medicine at McMaster University. In 2006, Alim was the recipient of Appleby's Young Alumni Award.
