Anna Trbovich '96

Anna Trbovich attended Appleby College from 1993 to 1996. While at Appleby, Anna was a Prefect (1995-96, Chapel Warden); played on the First Basketball team; and was co-captain of the First Girls' Swimming team, breaking both regional and school records. Upon graduating from Appleby Anna received the OAC prizes for Algebra/Geometry, French (W.C. Hardwick Prize), and Physics; The Cayley Award in Academics; and the Governor General's Medal. Following graduation, Anna attended Acadia University where she received The Academic Medal for the highest academic average; studied law at the University of New Brunswick and received the Law Faculty Prize and Carswell Prize for highest standing in third year law as well as the Lieutenant-Governor's Silver Medal. In addition, Anna was a Media and Sports Information Officer for Team Canada at the World University Games in China; venue staffing manager at the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympics Games; and worked as a clerk at the Supreme Court of Canada. Anna was the recipient of Appleby's 2005 Young Alumni Award and is currently an Assistant Crown Attorney in Toronto.
