Jasvinder Brar '98

Jasvinder Brar '98 attended Appleby College from 1994 to 1998. While at Appleby, Jasvinder was Head Prefect (1997-98), participated in the 10K and cycling clubs, and on Closing Day received the Cayley Award in Activities, The David W.L. Manbert award and The John A.M. Bell award. After graduating from Appleby, Jasvinder attended the University of Toronto and today is owner and partner of Entripy Custom Clothing in Oakville. Founded in 1999 as a small manual custom-printing t-shirt venture, Entripy was Canada's first online provider of custom printed garments. The company also owns and operates Desi Wear, an urban South Asian inspired clothing line that celebrates the rich and vibrant culture of the Indian Diaspora through urban and casual athletic apparel. In 2008 Entripy was named to the 20th annual PROFIT 100 ranking of Canada's 100 fastest growing companies. In 2008, Jasvinder was awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in the Young Entrepreneur category and was the recipient of Appleby's Young Alumni Award in 2003.
