Michelle O’Brodovich Class of '98

Michelle O’Brodovich attended Appleby from 1993-1998. During her time at Appleby, Michelle was a resident of Baillie House, played on the First Field Hockey and First Girls’ Soccer teams and portrayed Vivian in the school’s production of Oklahoma. After graduating, Michelle attended McGill University and received a BA (Hon) in Political Science (International Relations) in 2003. Michelle was remarkable at involving Appleby students with Dignitas International, a humanitarian non-governmental organization founded by international health experts to respond to the global HIV/AIDS pandemic. Michelle helped launch the Dignitas International – Appleby College Youth AIDS Initiative, which involves youth in raising awareness about AIDS by encouraging the development of innovative strategies for combating HIV/AIDS. In 2004, Michelle was the recipient of Appleby’s Young Alumni Award.
