An Appleby College arts tradition continues Tuesday, February 27 and Wednesday, February 28 as the school's performance of Sister Act takes place at the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts.

Last year's production, High School Musical on Stage!, was a hit with audiences and this year's show is sure to have everyone singing (and dancing) along. Sister Act is a feel-good musical comedy based on the hit film that has audiences jumping to their feet! When Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder, she is put in protective custody in the one place the police are sure she won't be found: disguised as a nun in a convent! Deloris uses her disco moves and singing talent to breathe new life into the church, but in doing so, blows her cover. Soon, the gang is giving chase, only to find themselves up against Deloris and the power of her newly found sisterhood. Filled with powerful gospel music, high energy dancing, Sister Act is a tribute to the universal power of friendship.

Those attending the Tuesday, February 27 performance are invited to join us for a post-show opening night reception kindly hosted by the Appleby College Parents' Association in the foyer of the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts.

Tickets are available for both performances for $20 each and can be purchased through the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts Box Office only. Be sure to purchase your tickets as soon as possible as they are sure to sell out fast. To order, please click here or call 905-815-2021.

I look forward to seeing you at the theatre!

Assistant Head of School, Co-curricular Programs & Student Leadership
