Camps Cancellation/Refund Policy

WHAT IS THE CAMP REFUND POLICY?

Our longstanding refund policy, with the flexibility to cancel up until 30 days prior to the start date of your camper's session and receive a full refund, is still in effect for summer 2021.  If you do decide to cancel, please do your best to give us timely notice whenever possible so we can plan accordingly.  The specific policy details can be found here.  Refunds can be processed as a:

  • Full Refund – Up until 30 days prior to the start of the session and/or if we cancel programs;
  • Camp Credit for 2021 – we will roll the amount paid into a credit which can be used towards any available 2021 camp programs

COVID-19 CAMP 2021 EXCEPTIONS:

Missed Camp Policies
Our fees are for a service over a specified period of time and are not a day-to-day fee. Missing camp days for any reason (without a valid Doctor’s note) will not be subject to any refunds or pro-rating of fees.

  • Exception 1: If a parent purchases Extended Absence Insurance at the time of enrollment ($15/camper/week), and their camper becomes ill or injured during the course of their enrolment, and therefore be required to miss three (3) consecutive days of their regularly scheduled enrollment, the remaining unattended camp days will be refunded.
  • Exception 2: if there is a positive case of COVID-19 in your child’s camp group and the group is asked to self-isolate for 14 days, a prorated refund will be granted for those days.

CAMPS CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

Full refunds will be issued for any cancellation received 30 days or more prior to the start date of the session you wish to cancel. For cancellations received 15-29 days prior to the start of the session, refunds will be subject to a $100 administration fee, per camper, per week.  Requests for cancellations received within 14 days of the camp start date are non-refundable unless a medical certificate accompanies the request. Refunds will not be granted for inclement weather or for days of camp not attended.

Appleby College Camps will do everything possible to avoid program cancellations; however we reserve the right to cancel a session of camp if the minimum enrollment is not met or if other unforeseen circumstances occur. In these situations, we will accommodate your child in an alternate program/alternate week or we will provide you with a full refund at your discretion.
