Congratulations to the Class of 2025! We can’t wait to join with you this week to celebrate your many achievements, first with your classmates and advisors at the Leaving Class Luncheon and Time Capsule Burial Ceremony on Thursday, June 12, 2025, and then with your parents, family, friends, faculty and staff at Graduation on Friday, June 13, 2025. Whether you have been at Appleby College for six years, four years or one year, your journey has been unique and while it has had its share of challenges, your accomplishments and successes have truly been memorable. You have had a positive impact on the school. Thank you to you and your parents for your many contributions to Appleby! Now as your time on campus draws to a close, we wish all the members of the Class of 2025 our very best as you prepare to take on new and exciting challenges including the next phase of your Appleby journey, and we look forward to welcoming you back to campus as alumni. A reminder that for Senior Two students and their families, Graduation on Friday, June 13, 2025 will begin at 8:00 a.m. with a continental breakfast in the Schlesinger Dining Hall, followed by the Leaving Class Service in the John Bell Chapel at 9:00 a.m. (the chapel service is for two guests per graduate only, but it will also be livestreamed in the Schlesinger Dining Hall; you may also click here to view a livestream of the service online), and at 10:30 a.m. the Class of 2025 Graduation and Prize Giving ceremony takes place on the lawn on the south side of McLean House (Principal’s Residence). We have also made arrangements to livestream the Class of 2025 Graduation and Prize Giving ceremony on June 13 at 10:30 a.m., please click here to view the ceremony online. If there are weather concerns, an e-mail will be sent to students, parents and employees on Thursday, June 12, 2025. Finally, a reminder that attending this year’s Graduation is optional for students in Middle One through Senior One and there is no limit on the number of attendees for the ceremony. Prizes and awards for non-graduating students will be announced and awarded this Fall. The 2024-2025 school year has been an exciting and rewarding one, filled with a variety of highlights. From Appleby's annual Walkathon, Community Weekends, Spirit Days, Friday Night Lights and Arts Week, to Global Education trips and excursions to the S. Bruce McLaughlin Northern Campus, and chapel services. Our athletics teams also had strong seasons with numerous league championships, not to mention the many impressive academic accomplishments. Congratulations to all students on an extremely successful year - you should be very proud and we wish all new and returning students a safe and healthy summer. See you in September! Sincerely, |

Exams take place until Wednesday, June 11, 2025. Click here to view the June exam timetable.
Middle Two POL Schedule
Click here to view the Middle Two POL schedule. Middle Two students need to attend two POL sessions – one session on the day their Home Form presents and another session on the day their Home Form observes. The bus schedule will be modified during exams, therefore, students who take the bus will need to come to campus in the morning if they are presenting their POL in the afternoon. English and Social Science faculty have shared the approximate timing of the individual presentations with students. However, please note this is always subject to change; sometimes, Middle Two students must present out-of-order due to factors beyond our control.
Family members are welcome to observe the POLs. In order to not miss your child’s Presentation of Learning, we ask that you arrive promptly at the start of the session (8:45 a.m. or 12:45 p.m.). There will be an allocated Refreshment Break time (10:15 a.m. or 2:15 p.m.). If you need to leave early, please do so during the Refreshment Break. Otherwise, we thank you for waiting until the POL session concludes before leaving Willis Hall. There will be opportunities to celebrate your child’s achievement during the Refreshment Break and at the end of the session.
Any student who does not pass the Presentation of Learning will be expected to return to campus on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 to redo their presentation.
Bus Schedule Updates
The exam bus schedule will be in effect until Wednesday, June 11, 2025 and there will be two bus departures each day, 12:30 p.m. (early departure) and 4:15 p.m. (late departure). If you have any questions, please contact Andrew Labow, transportation coordinator, at bus@appleby.on.ca.
