Middle Two Presentations of Learning
The Middle Two Presentations of Learning (POL) are a culminating event celebrating academic and affective growth as students finish Middle School. These individual presentations highlight meaningful learning experiences that students had and their reflections on these important moments.
On Monday, November 6, the POL process was introduced to Middle School students in Grade Band. In the third reporting period, Middle Two students will create and share their POLs with peers, teachers and evaluating panelists. Students will participate in a series of workshops and work periods in preparation for this presentation in the spring. In preparation for the Presentation of Learning task, all Middle Two students are encouraged to create a folder in OneDrive, titled “POL Artifacts”, in which they can save photos from the Middle School Community Day of Action, experiential trips, co-curriculars, and other highlights from the academic year.
We look forward to fantastic demonstrations of self-assessment, reflections on personal growth, and celebration of achievements at the end of the school year!
