One of the great joys of being a member of the Appleby College community is witnessing the connection between generations of alum. Whether it's groups of friends who go on annual trips together, those who return to campus year after year to attend the school's Carol Services in the John Bell Chapel, or watching classmates reconnect at their milestone reunions having not seen each other in decades and immediately pick up where they left off. Appleby is a special place. On recent travels to both Asia and the Caribbean, as well as at last week’s Toronto Networking Event, it is heartening to see alumni bonding over shared experiences and recounting stories of favourite teachers, but even more, there is a willingness to help each other. To offer career advice or insight into their university experience or living in a new city or country. The are also alumni who have created businesses together, with some of these collaborations originating from connections first formed while working together on class projects. As we host upcoming alumni events in Los Angeles, London (ON), Kingston, Montreal, and London (UK), as well as a return to Asia this spring, we look forward to re-connecting with members of the Appleby alumni community, and witnessing this remarkable bond. The Blue Dog connection is evident worldwide. Sincerely, Jude Alexander
