Reminder to Update Halton Public Health Student Immunization Records
Earlier this fall, many families were notified by Halton Public Health that their child or children were missing information in their online immunization record. To avoid school suspension, Public Health requires parents/guardians who have not updated their child’s records to complete the following actions as soon as possible:
- Visit halton.ca/immunize to review the student’s record and submit the required information. For students 16 or older, please see the specific instructions on halton.ca/immunize to access the online record.
- If the student requires immunization, arrange for them to receive the vaccine doses through their regular health care provider, or at a Public Health Community Immunization Clinic. Appointments will be available leading up to the Thursday, March 21, 2024 suspension date. Visit halton.ca/immunize to check clinic availability and book an appointment.
- Parents/guardians must promptly report all vaccines administered by health care providers to Public Health by visiting halton.ca/immunize.
