Donate Shoes to Soles4Souls Canada and Support Appleby's Earth Week Initiatives
Have shoes you want to get rid of? Donate your new, gently worn, or mismatched shoes without holes or mold. Drop your shoes in the box outside the A.W.B. Alumni Centre for Athletics and Student Life throughout Earth Week (Monday, April 22 to Friday, April 26, 2024). All donations will go to Soles4Souls Canada, an organization that distributes donated shoes to people in need around the world. Do you know that approximately 22 billion pairs of shoes end up in landfills each year? Synthetic plastics in shoes take up to 1,000 years to decompose. Please donate your shoes to be sustainable and help others in need!
