Appleby College Leadership Conference

Appleby College Leadership Conference

Appleby College Leadership Conference (ACLC)

When we began planning Appleby College's fourth annual leadership conference, we took a step back and asked ourselves a simple but powerful question: What makes a leader? Better, what makes a great leader? With such variance in leadership styles and strategies, it's difficult to provide one single definition. As a group, we settled on a fundamental commonality among leaders: A desire to step further.

Every great leader's story begins with a decisive step into the unknown. This year's conference is an invitation to cross that threshold - to embrace challenges, spark change, and step boldly when it matters most. That's what led us to our motto: Step Boldly, Lead Bravely.

The goal of ACLC is to empower leaders of the future in order to make positive changes in their communities. We feel that our conference is designed to do just that: push the boundaries of what it means to lead, looking to the past for guidance, and to the future for inspiration. It is our hope that attendees are able to connect, interact and inspire others, preparing students of today to become the leaders of tomorrow.

We look forward to welcoming you on Saturday, November 22nd.

Step Boldly, Lead Bravely!
