Founded in 1947 on Lake Kabakwa, Camp Kandalore has garnered a reputation as one of Canada’s finest traditional overnight camps. Renowned for its world-class canoeing and canoe tripping program, Kandalore also offers over 30 incredible activities that spark curiosity, build confidence, and ignite a lifelong love for the outdoors—designed for campers aged 6 to 16.
In 2023, Camp Kandalore proudly joined the Appleby College family, furthering the school’s efforts to promote the growth of outdoor experiential education, while making it more accessible to the broader community.
