The Appleby Fund

As we start the 2024-2025 school year, we are excited to launch this year’s annual campaign in support of the Appleby Fund.

Annual participation in The Appleby Fund is crucial in supporting the beacon of educational excellence our school strives for each year. Every donation to the Appleby Fund plays a significant role, not only in raising funds but also in demonstrating strong community support for our mission, “To educate and enable our students to become leaders of character, major contributors to, and valued representatives of their local, national and international communities”.

Last year (July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024), more than 544 individuals from the Appleby community supported our annual giving program with gifts ranging from $5 to $25,000, contributing an impressive $526,544 to the total raised. In 23-24, donors provided immediate financial support towards the following strategic fundraising priorities: Cockwell Hall, Wellbeing, Financial Assistance and Undesignated which helps to support emerging priorities.

As previous year results have shown, every Appleby Fund gift, small and large, adds up to generate significant impact. Unrestricted gifts support the day-to-day operations, ongoing yearly maintenance, and faculty enrichment. Unrestricted donations to the Appleby Fund provide the school with the necessary flexibility to support emerging priorities while reducing the burden on tuition.

Should you wish to make an online donation in support of the Appleby Fund, please click here  . A charitable tax-receipt will be sent to the email address you provide for all gifts of $20 or greater.

Alternatively, if you wish to donate through the mail, please send a cheque (payable to Appleby College) to the attention of the Advancement Department.
