Early Discovery Camps
Early Discovery Camps are designed especially for little campers ages 4-7: Arts Discovery, Camp & Sports Discovery and Nature & Science Discovery. We are offering our Discovery Sr. Campers another option, with a different focus each week. Games, events and activities vary weekly with different themes that give campers a fresh perspective. Led by qualified instructors, the programs operate in small groups ensuring close monitoring, encouragement and attention.
Special Note to Parents of Campers Born in 2020: Please be aware that in order to comply with provincial childcare legislation, any child enrolled in Appleby Camps must be at least 4 years of age at the time of their attendance at camp.
Discovery Jr. is designed for campers ages 4-5 years old, and Discovery Sr. is designed for campers 6-7 years old. If your camper is currently 5 and turns 6 during the calendar year, you can decide whether Jr. or Sr. would be the better fit for them, considering when they turn 6, level of maturity, being the oldest vs youngest in the group and other factors that contribute to a successful experience. If your child turns 7 during the calendar year (by December 31st), they are eligible for Discovery Sr. programs and our regular camp options (for campers 7 & older). You can pick which program would be the best fit for them. Please call our office if you wish to discuss.

What Is The Camp Waitlist Policy?
To help place as many campers into programs (and off of waitlists) as possible, we are introducing changes to the waitlist policy for both March Break and Summer Camp programming. When families are contacted by the Camp Office with news of an available spot in one of their waitlisted camps, they will have the choice to either accept or decline the offer, at which time all other spaces their camper is waitlisted for in that week will be released. Families will no longer have the option to decline one waitlisted spot, in the hope of getting into another camp. So please select your camps (and waitlists) carefully! Thank you for your cooperation in helping us get as many campers in their top choice of programs.
Camps Cancellation/Refund Policy
Full refunds will be issued for cancellations of 2025 Summer Camp programs received up to and including May 1, 2025. Please note that this applies to all summer camp weeks, and is a change from our previous policy of refunding up to 30 days prior to any given week of camp. Cancellations received after May 1, 2025 will not receive a refund. Exceptions to this policy are only given in the event of a medical emergency supported by certification from a legally qualified medical practitioner not related to the camper. Refunds will not be provided for inclement weather or for days of camp not attended. Changes to camp programs and/or camp weeks must be requested a minimum of 30 days prior to the first day of camp and are accommodated pending availability.
Appleby College Camps will do everything possible to avoid program cancellations, however we reserve the right to cancel a session of camp due to unforeseen circumstances or if the minimum enrollment is not met. In either of these instances, we will accommodate campers in an alternate program or alternate week or provide families with a full refund. If payment was originally made via credit card, refunds will be processed back to the card on file, less the 2.4% processing fee.
Please note: Full refunds for all March Break Camp Programs will be issued for any cancellations received up to and including February 1, 2025.
