Extended Care
We understand the camp day running from 9:00am until 3:30pm is not possible for all families and have created a robust extended care programming having campers asking their caregivers to pick them up late! A light snack is provided in both before and after care along with an array of activities including both active and quiet games facilitated by Instructors. We have books, beads, crafts, basketballs, badminton, parachutes and more to engage and entertain campers as they wait for their day to begin, or to help unwind after their time at camp.
Please note that we will not be offering extended care Week 1 (June 22-26, 2026). Pre-registration is needed for extended care a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the camp week starting. We do understand there are events out of your control and if you are running late to pick up your camper (past 6pm) please call the camp office at 905-845-4681 ext 113 and email beforeandaftercamp@appleby.on.ca to ensure communication lines stay open. If you show up past 6pm to pick up your camper(s) there will be a $10 fee for every 5 minutes past 6pm per camper.

What Is The Camp Waitlist Policy?
To ensure the best programming for our Camp Families, if you are offered a spot on the waitlist you can choose to accept or decline within 24 hours of the Camp Office contacting you. Once you have made your decision you will be taken off all other waitlists for that week, should you be on multiple lists.
You will receive an email confirming you are on the waitlist, should a spot become available one of our Camp Office Administrators will contact you. At that point you will have 24 hours to reply via email or phone to accept or decline the spot.
Camps Cancellation/Refund Policy
In a change from our previous policy, all registration cancellations are now subject to a $100 non-refundable fee per week of programming, which will be retained from the total registration amount. This fee applies regardless of the date of cancellation. The remaining balance, if applicable, will be refunded according to our standard cancellation procedures.
Cancellations to Camp, Enrichment, ESL Day or Credit programs received after May 1, 2026 will not receive a refund. Exceptions to this policy are only given with proof of a medical emergency supported by certification from a legally qualified medical practitioner not related to the Participant, submitted to the appropriate office (Camps/Academies) by the final date of programming. Refunds will not be provided for inclement weather or for days of the program not attended. Changes to the program and/or program weeks must be requested a minimum of 30 days prior to the first day of the program and are accommodated pending availability.
Cancellations to Before & After Care can be made up until 2 weeks prior to the start of programming, i.e., Before & After Care for Week 4 may be made up until the Friday of Week 2, etc.
Appleby College Camps & Academies will do everything possible to avoid program cancellations, though we reserve the right to cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances or if the minimum enrollment is not met. In either of these instances, we will accommodate Participants in an alternate program/alternate week or provide a full refund. Refunds will be made via the original payment method used. Note that the 2.4% processing fee originally charged cannot be refunded.
*Full refunds for all March Break Camp Programs will be issued for any cancellations received up to and including February 2, 2026.
