The Blue Dog Challenge is Here!
The Blue Dog Challenge is a spirited, community-wide initiative that brings together parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of Appleby College to celebrate generosity and school spirit. From November 24 to 28, the entire Appleby community is invited to come together in support of the school, strengthening the Appleby Fund through collective participation. Families compete by grade and alumni compete by decade, each aiming for the highest participation rate, with every gift counting equally. If you have children in more than one grade, your participation supports each of their grades, and in the event of a tie, the group that reaches the milestone first will take the lead.
Winners will be recognized in the Winter Quarterly, Alumni Ties, the AC Alumni Network, and across Appleby’s social channels, in addition to receiving a special shout-out from the Principal, and be honoured with a named plaque on a seat in the A.W.B. Alumni Centre for Athletics and Student Life Auditorium. The winning grade will also enjoy a Dress Down Day!
At its heart, the Blue Dog Challenge is more than a fundraising initiative. It is a celebration of what makes Appleby exceptional: a shared commitment to ensuring every student can learn, grow, and thrive in an environment shaped by excellence, opportunity, and community. Every gift, no matter the size, enhances the Appleby experience by supporting innovative programs, need-based financial assistance, and the evolution of our campus. Click below to participate today.
